Thanks, Tzu, for answering that. Didn't really expect an affirmative answer to that rhetorical question. Thought everyone knew the answer was "no, it is not." Even Joe, average though he is. ;-)

sex just happens to be the means of releasing/expressing the afore mentioned emotions.

There all entertwined. Sex is a war of "releasing/expressing" the anger, hate and/or desire to control. Control, and expressing anger, is a way to release/satisfy the sexual desire or feelings.

In some cases it might be almost all about "anger, hate and/or desire to control". For example a calculated rape as part of torture session might not even be a sexual turn on for the torturer (although it easily could be, particularly if the torturer was a sadist) in others its mostly about sex (most often in non-violent date rapes, although they can also be more about control or anger). But I think in most its about all of the above mixed together.

Edit - Would this disccusion be considered off topic for this thread or is the thread not so specific and tied to a particular topic?
