Allen, as you pointed out it would definitely work till the speed of broadband catches up. The NetFlix model is a perfect example, iVideo would just use the internet to deliver (much faster) instead of the US Post Office.

I totally agree. The popularity of Netflix is a clear sign subscriptions work great for movies. I personally think music will end up in the same place, but whatever, I'm just happy we have at least one point of agreement. ;)
