Mish,

I highly recommend you listen to Puplava's July 23rd netcast. In both the 1st and 3rd hour he does a thorough and eloquent job of completely debunking your deflation scenario. He also talks in depth about the fallacy of comparing Japan to America.

netcastdaily.com;

Oddly enough I was already listening to it before you posted. I think he is almost done. He has still not addressed my scenario and has added nothing to the debate. All he seems to be saying is that we have not had deflation so we will not have deflation. just ended...

It was totally pathetic.
He did not address the housing bubble, loss of jobs, etc etc etc.

He will not respond because he CANT.
You have not done so either.
We have not had a national housing/real estate bubble bust since......
Hmmm the last depression?
He is making the classic case of extending what he sees forever into the future. His dismissal of Japan was pathetic.

I would trounce him in a debate and he knows it.
In fact, I already have.

As for you, you heard what you wanted to hear, even though he said nothing other than prices are going up and they will go up forever. Pathetic.
