I think I know what happened. The library board trustees don't have to pay fines on overdue library books. I'm on the board

My wife would luv you for that little duty.

A former chapter 1 problem student reading teacher, she now does volunteer work tutoring reading for handicapped and refugees.

it is the mentality of i deserve it since i do it for free.

another one is they cover my expenses, no salary.

sounds like this person isn't doing charity work rather serving her self interest. If she was on the board for charity then she wouldn't be taking advantage of holding books out from people whom she is trying to serve.
