I believe it was Marcinkowski who also mentioned that a NOC(non official cover agent) CIA officer, in this case Valerie was outed as "working" for Brewster Jennings, a cover organization, which meant that Brewster Jennings, after Novak's column would be checked by all databases of every Embassy regarding all contacts relating to that company. This probably caused a combination of deaths or at least outings of other NOCs therby exposing all involved to either being removed as agents or being assassinated. These figures will never be known by the general public, as the CIA won't release those sensitive numbers. Patrick Fitzgerald is aware of this.
