Elroy, re:There is one key theme which resounds through these bombings and hate speech incidents, and its the supposed religion of the speakers and perpetrators. I think we've all heard - Not all Islamists are terrorists, but every terrorist has been Islamic. It makes a pretty strong argument for profiling. However, another group could use them as cover to commit a different crime or even a bombing in their name to discredit them even further. Also, this guy in London must want to stay if he skates on the line all time. Mafia types in USA have always done that as well - but in the end we caught them on other things like tax evasion. I wonder if England could find some other law to close him down and send him packing.
