Maybe you should look at this a little closer than just comparing $ spent per pupil.
Those of us who have owned a business are always interested in value.

You are paying $10,000 per student to get 75% to be HS graduates.

In Idaho, we pay $5,000 to get a 78% graduation rate.

LB has been right about this all along.

BTW, we have a new elementary school finishing construction right now...paid for the old fashioned way with cash. No bonds. Keeps taxes low.
