Since I have gone to Firefox, my Norton and my AdAware have not caught anything when they run. Really astounding. FireFox runs on the surface of XP, and stuff doesn't get in there, I guess.

How do you know whether Norton catches anything? I assumed it did that without telling me. It does tell me the spam it catches. I went from using Cloudmark's antispam stuff to Norton's. About the same; I'm just having to teach Norton the same things I taught Cloudmark's tool.

My protection against popups just gets better and better. I can't tell whether it's the regular new little addons to XP that get installed; it's Norton; or it's FireFox. Who can tell?
