Those are just paper shuffling mergers that add no new reserves to the combined entity. I've been looking for "new reserve/resources" mergers. Actually USD strength against local currencies, and lower input costs such as steel against gold(the end product), makes development economics better. Of course of late those companies have been trading better because of it.
