havent found the equivalent on win xp yet

I keep a shortcut to wordpad on my desktop. It comes in handy when SI goes down and I want to save some posts I will make to it later.

I made an icon for WordPad on the desktop, click start > all programs > accessories > right click wordpad > create new shortcut, then drag to desktop.

I use it to bring things back and forth between Word and WordPerfect.
