Sure the Western gov'ts have done abominable things in the past, but killing Western civilians many of whom weren't even alive when those deeds were done is no way to lodge your grievances.

Also, it is kind of stupid. I know you think the West should fear Muslims because they are 1.3 billion strong, but I think differently. It's like me walking up to Mike Tyson and throwing a good punch at him, because I want to express my displeasure at him, then hoping he will apologize to me. That is just stupid. I'd be virtually guaranteeing he'd pummel me to death.

The Muslims may be numerous but they are like ants in a very big yard. One good dose of ant-killer and it's all over. Until they have reformed their society and figured out how to gain power, they will forever be pissing into an oncoming tidal wave. There are two things they simply are not capable of beating: 1) globalization and 2) Western military and economic power. Western power will diminish in the centuries to come, but globalization is as sure as death and taxes. If they fail to adapt as a society, then their society will die. They can hasten that death by taking on the pre-eminent powers in today's world. That much is certain.
