Until the entire country can afford cable, I think we need the libraries....And even then, there is something comforting about being able to curl up with a book, and hard to imagine curling up with a computer to read, or reading your blackberry for the latest novel...before going to sleep. If everyone in the country currently has internet, then we can stop welfare. If we can all afford all the gigits that go with computers, there is no more need for welfare. And that would be a good thing.
