If that's the case, then you must have a whole bunch of folks from the other side in that "silly fool category". The "Republicans" are at least, if not more faithful to the party dogma. They are the talking points party... everybody on the same page all the time.

Living outside the US I don't see them on TV or hear them that much, so it's not an issue for me. Personally I think my views are my views, and the political party or partisan side or liberal vs conservative label is a waste of time. I think you were the one that said it about Iraq - it's a significant enough issue that your partisan views shouldn't matter. I think that way about most everything, and I only register with a certain party to be able to vote in the primaries.

Found out the hard way I think in 1992, registered as an independent without realizing I then didn't get to vote in the primaries!
