I think this is a very good thing. Mike has done some very good things for Pyng but he also has incredible baggage with the investment community. Pyng has had years of "big talk and modest performance". This misleading communication alienated all of the interested Internet based stock investment bloggers like Danny Deadlock which is how I got involved with Pyng to start with. I do not think Mike really knew how difficult it would be to turn his vision/concept into a reality and if he did he sure did not properly communicate the timeframe necessary to accomplish the task.

The communication tone coming from Pyng for several years after the big 1998 run was much to optimistic and misleading. Most investors blew Pyng off as a Puff and Run scam.

I believe it is best for Pyng to have someone new at the top that will bring some credibility and hopefully a new philosophy of communication with shareholders and the investment community. I applaud Mike for recognizing it is time to handover the reins.

This move will bring alot of the investors and news letter bloggers back for a second look hopefully.
