Appalachian University is here in Boone. A Sociology Professor with whom I had a discussion about the students who come to ASU (14,000) in State, Out of State...etc.. Said that her biggest problem with the in State students was their abject refusal to deal with anything that deviated from their religious teachings... Big Baptist Country here. In fact it was stated that 70 % of the incoming class this year were Born Again Christians... When religious dogma is a part of ones mind made I think that it behooves anyone to try to liberalize the thinking that emanates from that.
