I think that sort of broad brush thinking leads to exactly the problem she sees with her brother. In Iraq (for example) they are ALL Muslims, and it isn't really a "Muslim" weapon of choice, it's a Sunni weapon of choice, because they perceive they are shut out by the Shiites. In the UK most of the Muslims use the "weapon" of their local councils, and the legal system. We're just have to disagree if you think Mona's language is acceptable. It may be "appropriate" to her context, but only because her context is an emotional mess.
