A big part could be a move back to more conservative appraisals. Difficulties in getting real comps at even higher levels in tight markets.

Also much more scrutiny on the new high end condos attempting to be flipped both by underwriters and the appraisers setting the moving target of a value.

Also more and more prices over the Fannie Mae limit.
