I never said Al Qaeda was motivated solely by US policy - that was your addition. Their strikes against countries whose policies and actions appear aimed at occupying Muslim countries appear to be motivated by those policies and actions, according to what Al Qaeda says.

Al Qaeda's view of the rest of the world and how they want it to be is more complex.
