Would you not agree with that? Sure, but it still doesn't directly address the problem, which the author at least tried to do. Declining to call a knucklehead a knucklehead out of concern for a vulnerable group sure hasn't shown itself to be effective in other scenarios. Except that the people who aren't causing the problem can be part of the lookout system for people who ARE causing the problem. Sure they can, but why do we have to do that exclusively? What's wrong with a little "I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to take it anymore"? Isn't that a valid message, too?
