I'd have to know the specifics. Taking shots at the extremists isn't likely to solve the problem (in any way that I can imagine). That's not to say we don't ALL condemn them- but if you want a solution, I would think you need to work with the community, and not make it look like you are actually hostile TO the community. You rarely get very far with people when they perceive you as hostile, even if you aren't hostile, and have really good intentions. So, in the end, it all comes down to perceptions. Your idea about the perceptions and opinions engendered in the potential readers of Mona's article, and my idea about their perceptions and opinions, are different. I don't think there's a way to prove either of us right. If you think there is I'd be happy to read your idea., otherwise we can just agree to disagree,
