There you go again, reading something into what I said. You were doing fine up to that point. You can suppose all you want. I suppose no such thing.

The point made a couple of posts earlier, in response to the notion that greater education yields leftward leaning views, was that most doctors poll conservative.

Indeed, but I did not offer any opinion whatsoever on the correlation, if any, between education and political view. Nor did I offer any opinion on whether or not doctors were a suitable proxy for conservatives. I offered only that number of years spent in school doesn't necessarily correlate with amount of education, the kind of education that would inform one's political views.

If you have some complain about opinions on the correlation between education and political view, take it up with someone who spoke to that subject. I didn't.

I was simply asking for clarification.

And if you're trying to start something with a liberal, go find a liberal.

Re doctors, I recall a doctor of my acquaintance who used to refer to himself as a mechanic. I always thought that apt. (I have no clue as to his political leanings. I knew him as a doctor.)
