I agree it is subjective. And there are certainly people here who are consistently partisan on the right and the left but aren't banned. As long as people play nice here and leave the left/right bashing, insults and generally pissy behavior at the door, we can agree to disagree. The folks I banned didn't want to play that way. Fine. SI is a big sandbox. This is only one tiny corner. Why do folks get so mad because someone enforces the stated rules? As long as I end up banning people in fairly equal proportion on the right and the left AND I am pissing off people on both sides in equal proportion, the thread is pretty much situated where it should be.
