There are many, many conflicts that men are willing to take their chances with and to die in, if need be. Their love of kith and kin, heritage, brotherhood of the tribe, national loyalties, dogma of order, power and prestige, property, status and social influence... to name a few.

If we engage men in a global discussion over the issues, many will pick the one that is closest to them and begin to tool up. And so, we meet each other on the battle field of extremes, championing our favorite.

Some hesitate because we aren't sure if it the brotherhood of tribe out weighs our oaths to doctrine or if our control over property is more important than principle...etc

And so, now we fall into confusion about what is the right thing to do. It isn't for lack of courage or due to fear of change, as you suggested earlier. It is a disorientation of our humanity.

Until we are able to lift the veil of confusion, we will remain bogged down in a void such as this.
