You should read more

I'm sorry. I didn't mean to be rude, if I came off that way. All I do is read, man. That's why it's so funny.

These are mostly articles that I run across while not doing law school-related reading. My head hurts from all this book learnin'.

More reading!

zI am laughing because I was about to tell you the same thing, but I deleted it before I posted, lest I be rude and judgemental

Let's not be rude and judgemental...what you take for haughtiness, I'll take as my Muse...there are ways to seek essences and find that which reason allows us both to be drawn if you can please include me in your imaginary world.

If you read the Bible, you would know that both the Rabbi you posted and Jesus were teaching the law of Moses and would have never made the erroneous insinuation that the preachings of Jesus were commonplace.

And just think of how things may have turned out had "God The Unchanging", so instructed the legendary Moses, to turn the other cheek & render unto Pharoah, what is Pharoah's .
things would have turned out a bit differently ? ;)

Does seem to be some evolution and perfecting of thought going on here from Moses to Rabbai Hillel to the Rabbai Joshua of Nazereth ...to Tacitus the Historian
And so goes the world ...we learn as we go. Any good Greek or Roman then could have told you this .
