DID YOU KNOW....
Did you know that 47 countries have re-established
their embassies in Iraq?
Did you know that the Iraqi current government
employs 1.2 million Iraqi people?

Did you know the above is horse puckey and means literally nothing? Did you know that it does not even begin to describe what's happening in Iraq? Did you know that Iraq is on the verge of civil war? Did you know that Iraq is creating more terrorists than Osama fantasized about in his wildest dreams? Did you know that Iraq is fast approaching the failure rate of a Vietnam? Did you know that Iraq can not insure the safety of the diplomats from all those countries you mentioned above who who have put in embassies? Did you know that the power goes on only twice per day in Iraq and only for a few hours? Did you know that the power grid is just now approaching pre war levels? Did you know that after 2 1/2 years and with the training of over 200K soldiers, only 3000 troops can go into battle without the support of the US military? Did you know recruitment into the US military service is at a ten year low? Did you know that the number of suicide bombings increase with each passing week? Did you know that para militaries are popping up all over Iraq? Did you know that Iraq has signed a trade agreement with Iran? Did you know that Iraqis at the highest levels hate the US military because of all the blunders in Iraq........they just shot an Iraqi brig. general as he got out of his car? Did you know that Iraq is a disaster and is insuring that we will have more terrorist strikes in this country?

More photos from Abu Ghraib blocked

By Monica Mehta
Posted on July 25, 2005

This weekend, the government refused a court order to release 87 photos and four videos showing more prisoner abuse at Abu Ghraib. They are filing a sealed brief to explain their reasons for not turning the images over, but a possible reason? From Donald Rumsfeld last year after he saw the images: "I mean, I looked at them last night, and they're hard to believe." They show acts "that can only be described as blatantly sadistic, cruel and inhumane." Apparently this time, we're not just talking about sexual humiliation; we're talking rape and murder. Some of the previously released gruesome photos (warning: this site contains extremely graphic images) were already heinous enough, showing army officers making a thumbs-up sign next to dead corpses and prisoners with bloody wounds. The new batch is much worse, this time showing the rape and torture of female Iraqi prisoners. Some of the images reportedly involve children....
