OVTI is a dog. Even though its at its six month low, Price to Book and Price to Sales are both over 2. It has 57 million shares outstanding. Combining cash on hand and short term investments, its worth roughly $3 to 5 per share. All that would be forgivable if were growing revenues fast but revenue growth appears to be stalling.

I hope you do better work on your natural gas investments than you appear to have done on this one. Enterprise value to trailing sales is 1.3x, whereas TXN is 3.7x, NSM is 4.2x, NVDA is 1.9x (I could go on), and OVTI is more profitable than any of those guys.

Having 57 million shares out is a good or bad thing? Huh?

The only thing that matters in your analysis is the growth comment, and right you are, it has slowed. But it's (supposedly) going to resume in October Q, so don't be on the short side, unless you want to join the 18 million short position (out of the 57 million total). Shorta squeezamundo coming.

Why don't you discuss the value of OVTI with Elroy? He is the current expert on OVTI.
In general I got the impression you don't know much about the semiconductor industry and certainly not about investing there.
Since you seem to be doing well in energy issues, may I recommend you stick to that?
