Perhaps I'm defensive indeed. What you did do was suggest I needed help with my studies, when I'd not said I was studying a thing, but had only made a statement. I think I rightly concluded you were bashing me for making said statement. I think my conclusion was reasonable, but perhaps I was wrong to assume you were calling me wrong. Bottom line for me is that if you are aware that Bible Scholars may agree with me, and as you say, you didn't mean to say I was wrong, perhaps you could have been a tad more civil in requesting a religious discussion which really wasn't the order of the day, IMO. Instead, I'm sure most would agree you offered a chidingly disagreeable post in response to my quip. Dan B.
