KLP, If there is a decent amount of money to be tended to, it is good to have a trust. It doesn't cost much to have one drawn up, and the principal of a trust is not taxable, so one can use the fund without paying income tax on what is transferred from the trust to your bank account.

Some time ago, I got sick and tired of paying interest, so other than credit cards, paid off monthly, I pay cash for everything. If I can't pay cash, I don't buy.
