I could give 50 or 100 reasons why more of the same will not be built and why the design need changing

I didn't suggest rolling out carbon copies.

The B-52 is a long range heavy bomber. No heavy bomber with the payload of the B-52 is going to be stealthy. No heavy bomber is going to survive without air superiority. US doctrine calls for air superiority in advance - and there is no air force likely to engage the US in the next 30 years that we can't smoke with our current air superiority aircraft.

For its role, the B-52 design is as good as we need.
