AZ - Water - I disagree

Homes actually consume LESS water than the farmlands they replace. In AZ, water is a 30 year problem. Other issues are much more relevant at the present time. Issues favoring growth are - cheap endless land, the great weather compared to the midwest or east, the boomers retiring and retiring somewhere warm, etc/ Issues favoring a price drop are - poor job base, excessive commute times to new developments, price of gas, the overspending consumer mentality, the California etc. investor buyers drying up, etc. Water conservation is not even discussed here in Phoenix. Heck, if everyone retrofitted their homes with low flow toilets, that water savings alone could fuel another 5-10 years of water-based growth. Water is a mile off the list at the present time.

Lake Powell is drying up, if the drought continues it is hard to say what is going to happen. Colorado river is the main source of water to the Southwest as well as eastern CA.
