Matters of conscience like pointing out greed, corruption, death of civilians, partisanship to the point borderline treason, etc? Do these qualify or are you after something else?

SCOTUS is a perfect example if they are rude to Roberts and naral and move.on would have them be. Middle america has manner you see and thats why dems lose because they appear to have none. They dont get it. I am seriously considering voting for Hillary in 2008. If the election were held today and she remained on the moderate bent she has been on and she was running againt Bush 43 clone, i would vote for her. Of course the republican running wont be W, so that could change. But these guys already conceding 2008 election to the republicans is just plain dumb. I think the bush admin performed well in some areas but have botched the iraq war. And they have failed to fess up or alter policies in a meaningful way. Their acolytes say stay the course and thats why i fight so frequently with Unclewest over on bills thread. But the dems give the ball to howeird dean and watch michael moore fantasies and rail against john roberts instead of finding a centrist course and coming up with creative ways to succeed in iraq and get out. I propose timetables for iraq but i also would do as much as we could during the period to kill as many terrorists as possible. Kill terrorists, now thats inhumane and illiberal. We should embrace terrorists and get them to put down their backpacks and run for office. mike
