There are many things about Rumsfield not on his resume. Why was he really shaking hands with Saddam for instance? What exactly did he do for Reagan-Bush in Iraq? He certainly wasn't there to sell Saddam baby formula. It had to do with heavy arms not pharmacuticals or peace and goodwill.

And why is Rumsfield one of the main proponents of SDI despite the fact it doesn't work? How much money do Rummy cronies make off that huge boondoggle? SDI which happened to be Bush's #1 priority once he assumed power in 2000, along with protecting energy gougers and cutting environmental regulations to allow more pollution and more drilling in wilderness areas. Notice all Bush's priorities make his closest cronies richer but don't help the public at all.

I watched CSPAN last night, the congress and senate going through the Energy Bill items. It was amazing to watch the Texas congressmen going to bat for all kinds of huge multi-billion dollar corporate welfare for the oil business, regardless of the environmental harm and how rich the oil companies are now. And Alaska Senator Murkowski trying to deregulate the natural gas industry so there is virtually no punishing for massive Enron type fraud. Pigs at the trough.
