I tend to agree with that. But how comes we have more Lebanese in Brazil than in the whole Lebanon and we have Muslins "just like regular people.". Perhaps most of them are Christians. (I have to ask them when I go drink coffee at "Boca Maldita" joint where the old folks are discussing events

Curitiba's <<Boca Maldita (Cursed Mouth): a pedestrianized area with a large mouth symbolizing the spirit of the place. A platform for political demonstrations, the reciting of poetry and a meeting place for debate, rumour, politics and football.>>

Certain countries are more fertile for Mulsims to get more radical. They perhaps go there for the lack of opprotunity but stick to their culture since they don't feel good being British, Canadians, Americans, whatever.

If a Muslin goes to Brazil he likes to be Brazilian since it's good to be Brazilian.

I know guys that supports Brazil against their own country in the football world cup!! I asked why you do that?

He said: "I was a kid and saw those blacks and mulatos playing and trouncing the white English in the world Cup of 1970, I liked!! Since them I like to support them."

If you are in Brazil and you don't support the Selecao national team is an heresy. You would be in trouble!

Well, who the hell supports Lebanon football??

The Mosque in Curitiba has a sign written in fron of it: 'MOSQUE', else no one even know what that building is.

By the way: Every time I go into a discussion in Boca Maldita I got trounced: I defend selling Petrobras and COPEL (Parana's state electric utility) and sacking public servants.
