Yes, victors write the history books. Why read books written by the losers ? You need to read/hear both sides to get an objective view. But that is not what you want read you can always read the propaganda from one side. I am wondering what will be in history books about the current war in Iraq. "Enemy of the country, WMD was a threat to wipe out the entire world, breading ground for terrorism etc."... You may buy into that if want to read the victor's version. But reality is different as we know it now.
