It isn't a big deal. But if it is no big deal why is it that you, other liberals, and the ACLU is so insistent on banning my freedom to practice my religion as well as celebrate its traditions in public forums? You are trying to legislate our freedoms away. You place so little value in your freedoms that you give them away so easily. Seems I remember you saying that to me once. Shows your own hypocrisy.

In civil meetings, banning prayer prior to proceedings and instituting a moment of silence instead.

Roman meetings, during empire, were required to make a token sacrifice to the emporer before the meeting to show that he was in control. Of course in the course of a few hundred years the citizens quit doing that, and changed religions leaving the emporer with no followers.
