They wanted to stress all systems to the breaking point because ... ? There is still the question of currencies, global imbalances and a world still able to create alternative systems. And Wolfowitz is head of the World Bank for more than just the renegotiation, covert rape and future pillage of Africa... They wanted to stress all systems to the breaking point because ... the want to control the collapse of the international banking system and then re-order it on an electronic basis... thus enabling the further obfuscation of past abuse and misuse of funds, the current deficit and debt situation in America and the greater control over the global economic system as a whole. I would see a blow-off sold by strong hands into weak, the $hit hitting the fan with Plamegate and ye old attack as being the "reason" for the collapse - then World Bank to the rescue, a la LTCM - only with Wolfie in the lead... It is the ultimate power grab - even trumping the oil grab - as he who controls the bits ultimately rules the world. I see all the Patriot Act II, civil control mechanisms, etc., being aimed at exercising near total control over the populous while this collapse takes place. You know "we will thank them in the end".... Think about it. i. P.S. No one will remember or care about Valerie Plame or Joe Wilson or rigged ballot boxes when they are done. They will be grateful to be alive (if they are) and will honor Our Fearless Leaders... You know these scenarios are not hard to see... There are only so many plot lines...
