And Japan does not do the same?
Govt debt is 250% of GDP now?
Debt rating of japan is same as Nigeria or something like that.

At first glance I'd say I agree, but look "under the hood". You need to differentiate between GROSS DEBT and NET DEBT.

Read this from StLouis Fed research officer back in 1999:

Don't take it personally, but I think Americans are increasingly falling for propaganda, like the one served via FauxNews for regular news etc. And you read all these blogs and forums. Most others just watch CNBC!

The propaganda is trying to make a case for the "US birth lottery ticket" by belittling all the others. Often presenting day as night and vice versa. Like Baghdad Bob! It's not even funny anymore.

"Sclerotic", "stagnant", "aging", "high unemployment" EU - this is how it is described.
"bankrupt" Japan.
etc,etc with China

Personally I have no desire at all to see crisis in US, but this is exactly where things are going right now, for the middle class (I don't care about the 5% richest). Don't take my word for it, take Volker's (Greenspan's predecessor).
