Kerry saved more troops and POW's that perhaps any man in the early 70's. Think about it. It was the impressive leadership by war hero Kerry which was one of the toughest things for Nixon to fight against. Nixon told Colson to "destroy" Kerry, but two years under FBI surveillance and they couldn't find a single bit of dirt on him. Nothing. The FBI gave him a clean bill of health and called him a moderate who worked within the system. Doesn't it hurt when you realize the far right are the real culprits? Vietnam was a huge crime. After 1968 it was literally an unwinnable war and anyone who said different was a liar. If not for Kerry that war might have gone on another six months. How many would have died in that time period?
