re: Still Bush's plan is a mess, and congress is adding to it making it worse. But even if you can convince me that your plan is better that isn't saying much. "Batter than an awful mess" doesn't equal "a great idea that we should adopt now". Its not like we have to choose between one or the other. Mine works, it reduces dependence on imported oil, and doesn't increase the deficit. Bush's doesn't work, it just gives another $14Billion in subsidies to energy companies, and increases the deficit. It makes me sick... but the politicians are never shy about throwing dollars at companies that make massive political contributions. There is no hint of a solution in this energy bill... just more graft and corruption. John
