Then again I assume you spend most of your time with educated Muslims, right? And much less so with illiterates. Same goes for most of the US Muslim population, their average level of education is much higher than what you see in France and in the UK. Yes, it is well understood that educated Muslims think pretty much like we do about the wackos. Good ethics and values are not exclusive to Christians only. The high support for OBL and his followers comes mainly from the illiterates as far as I know. Taro

I sincerely hope that where you live is representative of the rest of the Middle East. Didn't you say you live in U.A.E.? If so, that is one of the more rich nations in the area (per capita GDP) and has a more liberal gov't, which is conducive to happy people with a more moderate bent. Travel a little around the rest of the Middle East, like to Iran, Pakistan, or Saudi Arabia and tell me what you see. Then I might feel that your thoughts are more representative.
