Evidently she thinks it is: The Ole' "well, if we are nice, and give them money (and more money) then they will think about what they are doing and stop it..." stuff. Yup. What drives me especially batty is the citation of "the Israeli/Palestinian conflict" as one of our sins. Hello, the Islamists want to destroy Israel and kill all the Jews! You think we should help them? Pablum about 'being more even-handed' is not going to cut the mustard! Too many leftists just have to project their own world view and goals onto the Islamists, otherwise everything falls apart. A few more attacks, and it will fall apart. The BBC was trembling on the edge for a couple of days after 7/7. This was an attack that not even they could blame on "poverty, oppression and desperation." But they soon reverted to form.
