I have not "dismissed" their lives, I have suggested a sense of proportion, reason, logic, a measured response without all the emotionalism- whatever you want to call it. That is NOT a dismissal imo, and I never said it was a one-off either. I happen to support airport security and other types of security measures, and not just because of terrorism. I think we have a lot of reasons to aim for more secure airports and borders- and I've said in many posts that I would like to see the borders and container freight better supervised- for many reasons, not just terrorism. And yet, I would have taken the my kids on the Tube the morning after. Probably was a pretty safe day, statistically speaking, with the heightened police presence. I'm really tired of this. So go ahead and respond, but I'm done with this here. I find this amazingly unrewarding. Have a great day.
