Salaries offerred to ceos offend me--same as NBA players. Wait to you see the size of the contract Larry Brown gets today or tomorrow from the Knicks. He will be worth every penny. The best coach ever in any sport imo. Maybe i will even watch my beloved Knicks again. Mike

One thing the govt could do would be to put such packages to a vote of shareholders.

I don't think shareholders should get involved at this level unless they have enough of a position to get on the board. Best way to handle a company who does something you don't like is to sell your shares.
