No pretense at all. It was a straight forward response to your claim that Iraq posed no threat - period... and uh... your response to my questions about the conditions under clinton (null response) is noted.

You are a partisan and the anti-Bush mission you are on is the ultimate expression of that. You could change that if you wanted to btw, I doubt you will but who knows.

I've noticed that criticisms of Bush are many times countered by criticism of Clinton or support from him. It does say a lot about the perspective of the person you are dealing with.

As far as I am concerned, Clinton's treatment of Iraq was also wrong. US actions after the first Gulf war amounted to little more than putting Iraq in a time capsule until we could "deal" with them. But there was little reason for this process once the WMD were gone and the Iraqi military was decimated.
