These days you put up lots of preconditions before you talk to me... VIX must be 8, JNPR 35... -G. But seriously, I certainly do pay attention to your arguments. SPX indeed may be minutes away from closing at a new multi-year high - this is something which must be given respect. I think that selected short entries are OK - for as long as one is sane when it comes to money management. I also think that nibbling on some leap puts may have a decent risk - reward ratio.
