"vast majority peasants, not much middle class. " And the peasant and middle class population bulge is approaching the most productive period of their lives. The productivity gains they should experience and the earning of business and individuals should grow rapidly. When you have billions of people doing something just a little better than they did last year, it causes huge improvements which will recirculate through their economy. They could always choose economic war with the US instead of growth. I recognise the risk, and discount it for now.
