IT would be a much more pleasant world if we could just deal with the ideas, and leave people alone (unless of course we are saying things like "You are wonderful!", "You are such a pleasure to read", and "You are a real asset to SI". )

I could say all those things about you, and Grainne :-) I hope you wouldn't think that was a personal attack. But I didn't start the post with them, so maybe that will save me!
