Your taxes? Where do you live? JFK cut taxes. LBJ waged war and wasted untold billions. So did Nixon. Ford did nothing. Carter inherited huge Vietnam debts. Reagan cut taxes but created huge deficits which made Bush Sr. raise taxes. Clinton had to raise taxes one more time top balance the budget - finally giving us the best economy we'd had since JFK. Gore would have cut taxes. Kerry was OK with tax cuts for the middleclass, just not the very rich.

When you look at this you realize that the biggest problems with our economy have come from unnecessary wars, gas gouging and tax cuts for the richest Americans. Now we have all three at once. The deficits Bush is growing will be bigger than everyone else in the history of the US combined. It's totally reckless, all so his cronies can have a party for a few years, at our expense.
