Also it was a recognized part of those movements, who label any fun or pleasant pastime as a "sin".

Man was never supposed to enjoy himself.

Or on an opposite note out of Italian literature "It tastes so well, only such a pity its not a sin" said the noble woman to her friend while licking her ice cream.

I don't think you know the definition of a taboo in the context of sociology. Go look it up, then we can continue to debate.
