Chicago politics have been considered by many as corrupt for as long as I can remember. I dont know if its an outgrowth of the mobs or what but it never fails to amaze me that so many people have put up with it for so long. jdn

Daley took a page from AL Gore "There is no controlling legal authority" (preventing Gore from illegal activity). Or did Gore just borrow a page from the notoriously illegal Daley clan?
